            Ever increasing requirements for compliance in regards to email correspondence.

AVTech Solutions

Virtualisation

AVTech delivered a hardware virtualisation solution based on a platform of VMware’s Virtual Infrastructure. The solution enabled a quick and easy way to deploy additional servers without additional hardware purchases, as well as more efficient use of the existing hardware. It also provided a highly available systems infrastructure through the flexibility of virtual machines.

Email Archiving

AVTech designed and implemented an email archiving and compliance solution based on Symantec‘s Enterprise Vault. This provided a policy driven archiving design to ensure that BDO always meets its compliance requirements in regards to email. It reduced their storage and support costs with the “vault” stored on high capacity, lost cost disk. In addition to providing the level of compliance required, the solution also included a fully searchable index to ensure locating email content is efficient and user friendly.

Microsoft Exchange

Using Microsoft Exchange, AVTech designed and deployed a solution that provided BDO significantly more features than their old email system, including feature rich access from both email clients and the web as well as additional forms of access into the system such as from PDA’s. The new email infrastructure is also much more scalable, and supports more users on less hardware. ​​
